On the Edge by Ilona Andrews (Review)

I absolutely love Ilona Andrew's Kate Daniels series, so I knew I would have to try out her Edge books. She has such a great sense of humor and snark that comes across so well in her books. I'm happy to say I enjoyed On the Edge as well. It is an interesting world with magic and plenty of rules to go along with it. Love the tough as nails heroine who gets softened up a little bit by the hero in the end, but still remains her own person.

XVI was a horrific look into a society that preys on young girls. At sixteen they become prime targets for sex and if anything goes wrong (rape, death, etc) the media plays it off as just another "sexteen." It really was horrifying and made me so angry while reading it. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book!
