It's Monday! What Are You Reading?(72)

Dec 05, 2011 by Kt Clapsadl

It's Monday! What Are You Reading, hosted by Book Journey, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

Here's what I read this past week:

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi (Review)
One Grave at a Time by Jeaniene Frost (Review)
Flying Blind by Deborah Cooke (Review)
Winging It by Deborah Cooke (Early Review)

Fly by posting thing week. Life is crazy hectic. Also, my TBR pile is about ready to eat me alive. I have 17 books pending that have to be read and reviewed and posted this month! That is just books sent from publishers, and not anything from my own personal pile. Considering the fact that it is already the 5th, and when you add in Christmas in there it is really starting to seem like an impossible task. This isn't the first time I've thought about adding a guest reviewer spot, but I have to admit it is looking more and more possible. What do you guys think?

My Upcoming List:
(This is very fluid right now, but these books are my best guess)
On a Dark Wing by Jordan Dane (Early Review)
Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder (Early Review)
Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione
Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (Early Review)

I've read both of those and they are very good :)
Yep, I loved it :) It definitely was very unique.
Looks like you're in for a very busy December. Hope you get to all of the books and enjoy the season :-)

Yep.. It will definitely be an interesting challenge to get these all finished. I actually received 5 books in the mail today from publishers and I looked at the package like it was a rabid dog. My daughter was like MORE books Mommy!!?? Haha!
Wow - 17 books...well, if you're able to read about four books a week, maybe you'll come close? Ouch. I panic when I have two books promised (no will power). Good luck with your reading and reviewing. It's hard to do all that, and browse other blogs, and do the real life thing, isn't it?

I'll be honest that when my review pile gets this out of hand that I am pretty negligent on visiting other blogs. (We won't even get into my tbr pile of my own personal books not for review, that list is threatening to eat me alive) Sometimes even my responding to comments on my own blog gets a little slack. I feel terrible, but there is only so much time in a day, and my kiddos come first. Even so depending on how tired I am after they go to bed I typically can read an entire book each night. (I read fast, so thank goodness for small favors). It is just the reviews that can be very difficult to find the time for.
