It's Monday What Are You Reading (99)

Jun 11, 2012 by Kt Clapsadl

It's Monday! What Are You Reading, is hosted by Book Journey, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

Here's my posts from the last week:

Blue-Blooded Vamp by Jaye Wells (Review)
If I Die by Rachel Vincent (Re-Read Review)
Lies Beneath by Anne Greenwood Brown (Early Review)

Blue-Blooded Vamp was everything I could have hoped for and more as a series finale. I just love the way things played out. Although I'm sad to see them go, I'm really happy with where they ended up, making it much easier to say goodbye.

This was the last month of the Soul Screamers Reading Challenge. I really enjoyed participating in it, and I loved seeing things in the new light the second time around. Also, I LOVE Tod, especially in If I Die. I can't wait to finally get my hands on Before I wake!!

Lies Beneath was really interesting as it showed the darker side of mermaids. These guys were definitely more along the lines of sirens and I loved that the story was told from the prospective of the anti-hero.

I have a giveaway going on for a signed copy of Storm by Brigid Kemmerer plus signed swag, so make sure to check that out.

Here's this week's Bargain Books & Kindle Deals.

Here's my answer to how I pick my next book and balance my review/fun reading.

Check out what characters I cast for a book with a survivor showdown couple style for T.G.I.F.

My Upcoming List:

Intangible by J. Meyers
Interview with J. Meyers
Tempest Fury by Nicole Peeler (Early Review)
Darkness Devours by Keri Arthur (Early Review)

I'm actually interviewing J. Meyers. I'm reviewing Tempest's Fury by Nicole Peeler. She is awesome though, I got to meet her in person a while back at a signing. Oh, and the Sabina Kane series is well worth the read. :-)
Lies Beneath looks excellent. We haven't gotten it in at my library yet but I'm super excited.

Happy reading this week!
