This Week's Question:

Comfort Reads: Which books do you go to for comfort & familiarity? Is there a type of book you seek out when you're needing that extra bit of comfort in your life?

I love to re-read books, especially after I've read a whole bunch of review books back to back. There is something just so comforting about revisiting a previously read book. There is absolutely no pressure or that feeling of obligation to think about the review. It is just simple bliss to read it just because I want to. I also love seeing just how much more I notice the second, third or even fourth time around.

Here's some of my favorite series to re-read:
(I only put the image of the first book up, it would take too long to show all the books in each series)

But by far my favorite books to re-read are the Night Huntress books by Jeaniene Frost. Seriously I could re-read these books 100x and never get tired of them!

Most awesome taste in books ever. I think I agree about ALL of the titles you have mentioned! (Just double-checked. There are three that I haven't read yet. Shall remedy it asap!)

Ooo I am jealous at you getting to read those books for the first time. Re-reads are seriously awesome, but there never is an experience quite like the first time you read the book!

Re-reading is definitely like that for me - I enjoy it because I don't feel any obligation towards the book. Plus, it's fun to revisit characters and places and stories that I fell in love with!

I haven't read anything by Frost or Morning, but I've been meaning to forever - have to get to them soon now. I'm not someone who re-reads much, butfantasy & paranormal are my first choices for comfort reads.

Jeaniene Frost and Karen Marie Moning are seriously talented authors! You should definitely check them out!
