How many books do you own (keepers) and how many are in your to-be-read pile? Feel free to include pictures! (Thank you, Doville!)

Well it appears it's time for a bookshelf picture update. ;)

Shelf #1 holds most my of adult books and ARCS:

All together there is about 450 physical books, and an obscene number on my kindle that I won't disclose here. ;)

As far as my TBR pile goes.. yeah it's pathetic. I'll show you my sticky note of books that need to be read and reviewed:

As I've said in my post - I'm not even going to count the TBR pile. I'm doing a good job making my way through it lately and to put a number on it will probably freak me out again. I pretty much stopped taking any review requests so it's almost all reading for pleasure/catch up right now.

I've had to drastically cut back on my review copy acceptances now that I'm working for Entangled. I LOVE my job, but it does take up most of my time. So while I still have a bit of a learning curve towards balancing everything, I'm making progress.

I like this meme! I might have to start participating in the future. For now... my physical TBR is only one 5 shelf bookcase. My wishlist TBR however is getting close to 700!

I hope you do decide to participate! The more the merrier. And I swears it's a good thing that TBR piles are not alive. Otherwise they would all gang up to smother us in our sleep. ;)

I refused to count my books too... any of them. I was too embarrassed earlier this month when I had to count go through my incomplete series for a series reading challenge. Yikes! The good part about Let's Talk this week is I know that I'm not alone. *blush*

Yeah the only reason I knew how many physical books I had was because of an app I use to track them. (That way I don't buy duplicates.) But yeah, it's definitely cringe worthy.

My life literally changed once I started using that sticky note. I use google calenders too so I can easily see it in a monthly format, but that sticky note is the best thing to quickly look at to know what book is up next.
