This week's question:

When you get on the computer, what sites distracts you from working on your blog? (Thank you Doville)

Uhm, what sites don't distract me? I have such limited time for blogging anymore that I've tried to be more vigilant about not letting anything else distract me, but I'm not always successful. Here's the big distractions for me:

1. Email: Even when it is after work hours, and have set aside time to work on my blog, I still find myself frequently checking my email, and then I get distracted by whatever work issue has come up. I seem to lack the ability to stop working most days. In fact I have everything synced to my phone as well. Most days while waiting in the school pickup line for my daughter, I'll be answering emails on my phone. Connectivity is both a blessing and a curse I think.
   
2. Twitter: I love twitter for all the interesting tidbits it gives me. In fact, I use it much more frequently to check out blog posts instead of looking at my RSS reader. However, when I'm supposed to be working on my blog and stuck on a particularly difficult review, scooping out Twitter is so much more appealing, and before I know it, I've lost a ridiculous amount of time reading tweets and following links.
   
3. Facebook: Similar to twitter, I use facebook to find interesting blog posts, but I also follow the feeds of personal friends/family, so it's easy to get sucked into finding out what is is going on lately.
   
4. Pinterest: Dear lawd.. this site kills me. I lose so much time looking at recipes and other interesting pins.
