Let's Talk With Smash & Kt (27)

May 03, 2013 by Kt Clapsadl

Welcome to the Let’s Talk weekly discussion meme!

Originally hosted by Melissa from i swim for oceans, Smash & Kt took her original inspiration, and made it their own, expanding it to more than just books. Let’s get personal (but respectfully so) and learn more about one another!  Each week, a different question will be posted along with a place to link up your posts and visit other people’s responses. This meme is definitely meant to bring out conversation and meet new people. So, Let's Talk!

We'd love to hear any ideas you have for questions. Submit them Here

This week's question:

Do you have pets? Are they your cuddle-buddies when you’re reading? Share the pet love! (Thanks, Sarah/Sarah Says Read and Miki/ Lecture toute une Aventure and Dovile)

My answer this week is pretty boring as I don't have any pets. Both myself and my son are highly allergic to animals, so we stick with the stuffed variety. I do love looking at pictures of other people's pets though as they are adorable!! So please feel free to share them with me!!

So sad you're allergic! Come and see a picture of my furbabies.
I didn't know about this meme till tonight! I have two kitties who have diabetes. And boy can they be a handful! I started a blog about them to help other people who might also have kitties like this: http://catsdiabetes.blogspot.com/

Have a great weekend!
Heehee, I have many pets! My first two cats are brothers (properly brothers, too, from the same litter) names Nick and Jakob. Then we adopted a rosy bourke (basically a glorified budgie) named Albert from my roommate's coworker who could no longer keep him. The next batch of pets came when the local animal shelter was overcrowded and was looking for foster homes to even just temporarily take some of the burden off them. We went there specifically looking for a cat who needed the extra love and attention, like a special needs kitty or a pregnant one. They had a pregnant cat who came home with us and then seriously less than 3 hours after getting home, she went into labour. She gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens. 2 were adopted to a loving home (their names are now Sammy and Chelsea), and the mother and remaining 2 kittens -- now fully grown -- are staying with us. The mother we named Mimmy because that's what it sounded like she meowed when we asked her name. The kittens are Natsu (a male) and Haru (a female), and they are the sweetest bunch of fluffheads you'll ever meet!
