Monday Wrapup (155)
It's Monday! What Are You Reading, hosted by Book Journey, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
Reviews for the past week:
Darkness Dawns by Dianne Duvall (Review)
"I can't wait to dive into the next installment. Definitely a highly recommended read!"
Midnight Frost by Jennifer Estep (Early Review)
"I did enjoy MIDNIGHT FROST, and I didn't have an issue with my attention straying from the book. Would I have preferred more action/plot momentum or more focus on the romance issues? Absolutely. However, when it comes down to it, what matters most in the end was whether or not I was entertained, and if the book was enjoyable, and that's something I can easily say about this book."
Kirsten's Book of the Week:
Garrett for Hire by Glen Cook (Review)
"While all the books are by and large well-paced reads, handling most situations with levity that won’t be unfamiliar to anyone who enjoys a private investigator as the main character, they definitely won’t appeal to everyone, and if you can only handle small doses of noir or this style of humor, it’s best to read this one in bursts, and not a single sitting."
