Monday Wrapup (172)
It's Monday! What Are You Reading, hosted by Book Journey, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
Reviews for the past week:
Hell Bent by Devon Monk (Review)
"I'll admit that sometimes spin offs can be a bit hit or miss for me, so I was really happy that HELL BENT was all hit, well that is minus the shocker towards the end of the book. I get why Devon did it, but man did it cut my legs out from under me. It will definitely make the next book interesting, and therefore I cannot wait to get my hands on it."
Black Heart by Christina Henry (Early Review)
"BLACK HEART had a very different feel to it than the previous ones in the series due to the fact that Maddy was on her own for most of the book. Typically I'm not a fan of these kind of setting/character changes in a series, but I think this time around it really worked."
Kirsten's Book of the Week:
Harbinger by Philippa Ballantine (Review)
"There are difficult choices to be made as well as sacrifices, but with so much behind them already, readers have hope that Sorcha and her companions can find a way through this crisis to a relatively happy ending. "
